Yuengling Mansion Museum

March 20, 2014

The Yuengling Mansion is one of the most architecturally and historical significant buildings in Pottstown. Owned and operated by the Schuylkill County Council of the Arts, the former home of the Yuengling family serves over 20,000 people each year. The site is more than just a historic house museum: it hosts jazz festivals, outdoor concerts, gallery shows, civil war re-enactments, festivals, and theater performances, all of which help preserve Schuylkill County’s diverse and creative heritage. Keystone Fund grants were used to strengthen the mansion’s underlying structural support and restore the building’s character-defining front entrance and porch area.
